ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Jahanzib Khan has shown dissatisfaction over the performance of Inland Revenue Operations wing and directed the high-ups of the wing to achieve the revised target with the implementation of the approved strategy, it is learnt here.
According to official sources, on the direction of FBR Chairman Jahanzaib Khan, Member Inland Revenue Operations Habib Ullah Khan has started visiting all the field formations across the country to monitor the activities and the strategy to achieve the assigned revenue collection target for the month of November 2018.
Sources said that Member Inland Revenue Operations Habib Ullah Khan will visit Karachi on November 26, after which, he will visit Multan, Faisalabad, Peshawar and Quetta in the next phase.
He will review the strategy and its implementation for achieving the assigned target for the current quarter, sources confirmed.
It is important to mention here that FBR has fixed Rs196.4 billion revenue collection target for the month of October, while the target for the second quarter has been fixed at Rs676.9 billion.
