ISLAMABAD: After holding hearings for four days at Islamabad headquarters, the Customs Appellate Tribunal Chairman Justice (r) Manzoor Hussain would resume the hearing of cases in Karachi by coming Monday.
The chairman heard cases at Islamabad headquarters from Monday to Thursday. He had held the hearings in single and divisional benches during these days.
According to chairman’s staff in Islamabad, he would resume the hearing of cases in Karachi from coming Monday and would stay there for a couple of days for deciding some important cases.
They said the chairman had the busiest week in Islamabad therefore did not head to Karachi immediately. He would reach Karachi after availing weekend off-days in Islamabad, they said.
He is likely to come back to Islamabad headquarters in second week of October, they said adding that number of cases have increased since his joining which were waiting to be heard.
