Accordingly, the CBSA calculated preliminary anti-dumping duties ranging from one percent to 109.2 percent for the six locations. Provisional duties are now payable on the subject goods that are released from customs on or after January 3, 2017.

The investigation was launched in August 2016 upon a complaint received from local producers AltaSteel Ltd, ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada and Gerdeau Longsteel North America.
