Canadian Police nab 3, seize illicit drugs worth $23,000

TIMMINS: Canadian Police has seized 30 fentanyl patches, 90 morphine capsules worth of more than $23,000 and arrested three individuals here the other day.

Canadian police executed a search warrant at a local hotel, here the other day.

The execution of the search warrant led to the seizure of approximately 30 fentanyl patches, 90 morphine capsules, and approximately $1,300 in Canadian currency.

Scott Morris, 41, of Timmins, Lartese Myers, 33, of Etobicoke, and Erin Rosen, 31, of Etobicoke face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl), possession for the purpose of trafficking (morphine), and possession of property obtained by crime.

The three accused were held pending a bail hearing.
