LAHORE: The majority of Corporate and Associate Class (CAC) members of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) have announced their support for PIAF-Founders Alliance for the upcoming LCCI elections scheduled for September 23 and 24.
Pakistan Steel Re-Rolling Mills Association (PSRMA) leaders Mian Muhammad Ashraf, Hafiz Muhammad Akbar arranged a luncheon reception in honour of the CAC leaders and candidates.
The PSRMA leaders, appreciating the LCCI performance, said that the Lahore chamber’s stance on electricity and gas had helped the steel sector overcome the challenges. They said the steel sector would continue to support the alliance for the benefit of business community.
Mian Misbahur Rehman, Mian Shafqat Ali, Malik Tahir Javaid and Corporate Class candidates Ijaz A Mumtaz, Baber Mehmood, Nasib Ahmad Saifi, Zafar Mehmood, Muhaamd Saeed, Muhammad Aslam, Mian Afzal and Maqsood Butt attended the luncheon.
The Alliance leaders thanked the PSRMA leadership and promised to come up the expectations of the voters after winning the elections. Meanwhile, the Alliance candidates for Associate Class including Engineer Sohail Lashari, Khawaja Khawar Rasheed, Talha Tayyab, Raja Hamid Riaz, Rizwan Ali Khalid, Muhammad Haroon and Muhammad Akram visited Shah Alam Board markets.
