LAHORE: Names of nine candidates who are going to contest annual election of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) to be held on December 29 have been announced.
The names have been announced for the seat of senior vice president, vice presidents and one seat for woman VP.
Rahim Janu from Karachi will compete for seat of senior vice president while candidates contesting for vice president seat includes Ghazanfar Bilour, Hameed Akhtar Chadda, Khawaja Zarar Kaleem from Punjab, Ahmad Bilour from KPK, Dara Khan from Balochistan, Akram Rajput from Sindh and Waseem Vohra.
Fahmida Jamali from Balochistan is contesting for vice president seat on a woman seat.
Chairman Business Group and VP SAARC CCI,Iftikhar Ali Malik said here the other day that name of Muhammad Adrees had already been announced for the top slot of President FPCCI with consensus in true democratic spirit after consensus. The election will be held on December 29 in Karachi and the official result for the top slot of President, Vice Presidents and member executive committee will be announced on December 30,followed by annual general meeting.
