ISLAMABAD: A single bench of the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue comprising Account Member Dr Ghulam Mujtaba Bhatti heard a case filed by M/S Shalimar Recording and Broadcasting Company during third week of March.
The bench also issued directives to the parties to ensure presence before the bench and submit related documents to reach a decision at the earliest.
M/s Shalimar Recording and Broadcasting Company had contested show cause notices issued by the field offices of the Federal Board of Revenue.
According to details, M/s Shalimar Recording and Broadcasting Company had challenged recovery of issued to it in head of outstanding income tax by the LTU, Islamabad.
M/s Shalimar Recording and Broadcasting Company had submitted the department had issued the demand for the tax year 2014 under head of income tax under provisions of Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.
