ISLAMABAD: Ali Asad, a Pakistan Customs Service officer of BS-17, has been allowed to pursue Master’s Degree Programme in Public Finance at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), in Tokyo, Japan under WCO Human Development Programme.
The officer, presently posted as Assistant Collector at Model Customs Collectorate, Gilgit-Baltistan, was allowed to pursue master’s degree with effect from September 1, 2018 to September 30, 2019. His study period abroad will be treated as deputation/duty.
However, the performance allowance (equivalent to 100 per cent of basic pay) admissible to the officer shall remain discontinued during his deputation period.
