KARACHI: The Customs Collectorate of Appraisement West collected Rs 11655.21 million of customs duty (CD), sales tax (ST), income tax (IT) and federal exercise duty (FED) during the month of May 2018.
Sources told Customs Today that Appraisement West received Rs 7458.24 million as customs duty, Rs2417.69 million under the head of sales tax, Rs 1745.74 million as income tax and Rs33.54 million of federal excise duty (FED) during the month of May.
Earlier Customs Collectorate of Appraisement West collected Rs 3357.65 million of customs duty (CD), sales tax (ST), income tax (IT) and federal exercise duty (FED) during first week of May included Rs2185 million as customs duty, Rs621.85 million under the head of sales tax, Rs 541.24 million as income tax and Rs 9.56 million of federal excise duty (FED).
It is necessary to mention here that Customs Collectorate of Appraisement West collected Rs 9262.64 million of customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal exercise duty during month of April included Rs 5478 million as customs duty, Rs 1987.47 million of sales tax, Rs 1758.68 million as income tax and Rs 38.49 million of federal excise duty (FED).
