ISLAMABAD: Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench-I has reserved judgments on eight cases filed against Director General of Intelligence and Investigation (DGI&I) and Customs Collectorate, Islamabad.
Customs appellate tribunal division bench comprising of Chairman Ghulam Murtaza Bhatti and Member Technical Muhammad Nazim Saleem had reserved the decisions of cases after hearing conclusive arguments in recent week.
The bench reserved judgments on cases filed by Malik Jehangir and M/s Saleem Silks. They had filed complaints against DGI&I, Islamabad. Malik’s case was reheard after he filed a plea for rehearing following reservation of his case during previous hearings.
Appellant Abid butt, Sanaulllah, M/s Iqbal & Co, M/s Najamuddin and others, M/s Asmatullah, and M/s Laguardia Logistic Private Limited had filed cases against Model Collectorate of Customs, Islamabad. The bench also reserved judgments on these cases.
Meanwhile, the bench adjourned hearing of seven cases till March 3 which included petitions by Pakistan Royal Group, National Institute of Health, Islamabad, Expanded Programme in Immunization, Fahad Industries, Siraj ul Mulk, Muhammad Mnasoor, and Deputy collector customs dry port, Islamabad.
