LAHORE: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Lahore has arrested Naseem Masih, a resident of Sargodha from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore while he was boarding a plane for Saudi Arabia and seized 2.25 kilograms of heroin from him.
Sources told Customs Today that the ANF team also seized 720 grams of heroin from a parcel containing baby garments being sent to Canada.
It is also necessary to mention here that ANF team intercepted a car near Thokar Niaz Baig and seized 25.2 kilograms of hashish during road checking. Two accused, James Johnson and David, residents of Peshawar, were arrested. The ANF authorities after registering a case of narcotics smuggling against the accused persons started further investigations.
