NEW YORK: To maintain its quality in the world of technology, Android 5.0 Lollipop has begun to roll out for Nexus 7 Wi-Fi-only devices worldwide, including Nexus 7 LTE/3G models after first week of December 2014.
The firm added that the update will arrive on the 2012 and 2013 Nexus 7 models, equipping the tablets with Google’s new Material Design language, improved security features, including default encryption and Samsung Knox, and a battery saving mode.
Motorola also began its roll out last week, saying in a blog post: “We’ve started to roll out Lollipop in phases to the following devices in the US: Moto X (2nd Gen.) Pure Edition, Moto G (2nd Gen.) US GSM, and Moto G (2nd Gen.) Global GSM retail versions sold in the US.”
The Nvidia Shield Tablet has also become one of the first devices to get a taste of Lollipop, and LG has promised a prompt roll out for the LG G3 too.
