PARIS: Air France – KLM reported increase in traffic, load factor, and passengers for December 2016.
The company said that the airline transported 6.4 million passengers and increase of 4.8% compared to December 2015, due to an increase in traffic and load factor in all regions of the network except Africa. The comparison was impacted by the Paris attacks in November 2015.
Unit revenue per available seat kilometer (RASK) ex-currency of December was down compared to last year but in a lesser proportion than during the past few months.
The company reports a strong increase in capacity and traffic driven by new routes from Amsterdam and France, and the expansion of the Munich base.
Unit revenue per available ton kilometer (RATK) ex-currency was down compared to December 2015.
