RAWALPINDI: The National Accountability Court Friday summoned former President and Co-Chairperson of Pakistan Peoples Party Asif Ali Zardari in an alleged corruption case on April 27 to appear before it.
The Accountability Court of Akhlaq Hussain after re-opening of a corruption case, for failing to submit correct details of wealth regarding Bilawal House, issued summons.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had filed this reference back in 2001, well prior to his election as president of the country.
Prosecutor General NAB Raja Khurram appeared before the court on behalf of the Accountability Bureau which summoned Zaradri to appear before court in person on the said date for next hearing.
