ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retired) Javed Iqbal has said that NAB is taking serious steps to bring back looted money in Muzarba and Muhsarka scandals as 34 big fishes have been caught so far.
Addressing an open court, the anti-graft watchdog chairman said that bringing back plundered money and eradication of corruption was the utmost priority of the NAB and its unbiased accountability will be continued.
“NAB has brought back looted Rs297 billion and deposited into the national exchequer as 34 big fishes have been arrested so far in connection to the campaign against the looters who involved in a scam of Muzarba and Musharka,” he said.
The NAB chairman has heard the corruption complaints of the people one by one and assured them anti-graft watchdog will get the issues as per law and all the corrupts will be sent to their logical end.
