QUETTA: The newly recruited 237 sepoys have completed the first phase of their training at the Quetta training center.
On the recommendations of the Federal Board of revenue (FBR), the newly recruited customs sepoys are getting physical training at the Quetta training center under the supervision of the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan.
Source told Customs Today that newly recruited sepoys of Pakistan Customs from Appraisement, Preventive, Exports, Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) as well as Customs Headquarters Karachi reported to the Frontier Corps (FC) at Quetta training center on the 10th of July.
All the sepoys of Pakistan Customs belongs to Karachi and had to complete their training in 50 days. They are taught tricks and techniques to cope with smugglers as well as to carry out investigation process.
The source also said that it is expected that the customs sepoys will be delivered the second phase of the training before a week of Eidul Azha as the personnel of the officers of the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan will gone on the Eid vacations.
After the completion of the training in September the senior officers of the Pakistan Customs Quetta as well Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan will grace a passing out ceremony during which certificates will also be awarded to the sepoy of the Pakistan Customs.
