20kg gold seized at Chittagong airport

The gold was seized from a Biman aircraft early on Monday Customs intelligence officials have recovered 20kg of gold at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram.

The gold was seized from an aircraft early on Monday, reports UNB.

Dr. Shahidul Islam, director general of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID), said: “A team of ours recovered the gold from the toilet of a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG-128) which arrived at the airport from Abu Dhabi.”
