ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division has nominated ten Pakistan Customs Service officers of BS-18 for 26th Mid Career Management Course (MCMC).
The 26th MCMC will be commencing with effect from August 6, 2018 to November 9, 2018 simultaneously at NIM Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta and Islamabad. The nominated officers have been asked to report to these NIMs on August 3, 2018.
The nominations are subject to provision of latest annual medical examination reports to the concerned NIMs. These officers may intimate Board of their proceeding on training.
It is pertinent to mention that according to revised promotion policy, “if the officer is nominated for the mandatory training and he/she declines to proceed on training for the two consecutive training courses, then he/she would forfeit the right to consideration for promotion”.
Moreover, the Establishment Division has also intimated in its letter referred above that “in case of any withdrawal of nomination either by the department or by the officer himself/herself, the officer concerned will be responsible, if it adversely effects his/her promotion prospects”.
The course will be fully residential, except NIM, Islamabad having course fee Rs200,000 per participant.
